Bloxorz: Play the Original Online, With All 33 Level Codes
Stage 1 of Bloxorz takes exactly seven moves: right, right, down, right, right, right, down. We know because we rolled it on October 7, 2026, in the original 2007 Flash game, which still runs here through the Ruffle emulator. This page has that playable Bloxorz, all 33 level codes (read from the game file and checked in the game), what every switch and tile does, and the habits that get the block through the later stages.

What Is Bloxorz?
Bloxorz is a free 3D puzzle game where you roll a tall rectangular block across floating tiles and drop it, standing upright, into a square hole. It has 33 stages, adds switches, bridges, fragile tiles and a split block along the way, and counts every move you make.
One person made it. The credits screen reads: "All graphics, audio, actionscript and puzzles in Bloxorz created by Damien Clarke, DX Interactive, 21st June 2007." The Flash Gaming Wiki dates the release to August 22, 2007 and lists Miniclip as the publisher. Nearly two decades on, Coolmath Games still calls it "one of the most beloved games" on its site.
Flash itself was shut off on January 12, 2021, so most copies of the Bloxorz game today are remakes; Miniclip's was converted to Unity, according to the wiki. The version on this page is different. GamePix serves the original bloxorz.swf file through Ruffle, a Flash emulator, so the menus, the moves counter and the passcodes are the 2007 originals.
The first instruction screen sums up the whole thing: "The aim of the game is to get the block to fall into the square hole at the end of each stage. There are 33 stages to complete."
How to Play Bloxorz
You can play Bloxorz online right here. Press the green start button, then Play Bloxorz; the launcher may show an ad before the game file loads. This is how the first stages go.
- 1Start a new game
Choose Start New Game. Nine instruction screens explain every rule; read them once or click Skip Instructions.
- 2Roll the block
Each arrow key tips the block one step. Standing, it covers one tile; lying down, it covers two.
- 3Stand it up over the hole
The block only drops into the exit when it stands upright on the hole tile. Lying across the hole does nothing.
- 4Press the switches
Round switches react to any part of the block; X-shaped ones need it standing on its end. Flashing green or red squares show which bridge moved.
- 5Stay off orange tiles while standing
Stand upright on an orange tile and it gives way. Fall off any edge and the stage restarts.
- 6Write down the passcode
Every stage shows a 6-digit passcode in the top-right corner. Load Stage on the main menu takes you back to it later.
Bloxorz controls
The arrow keys do the rolling. Space only matters after a split switch, when it swaps control between the two small halves. The Menu button in the top-left corner pauses the game and offers Return to Game, Toggle Sound and Quit to Menu, next to a panel with your time, the stage number and your attempts.
The Moves counter in the top-right corner keeps running from stage to stage. We finished stage 1 in 7 moves, and stage 2 opened on Moves: 7. Loading a stage with a passcode resets it to 0. GamePix marks this build as not mobile friendly, so you need a keyboard.
All 33 Bloxorz Level Codes
Bloxorz has no save file. Instead, each stage shows a 6-digit passcode, and Load Stage on the main menu jumps straight to it, which makes these Bloxorz level codes a level select. We read all 33 from the levelcodes list inside the game's own bloxorz.swf on October 7, 2026, then checked stages 1, 2, 17 and 33 in the game itself.

Bloxorz level codes, stages 1 to 33 (checked October 7, 2026)
To use a code, choose Load Stage, type the six digits and click Enter. You start that stage fresh, with Moves at 0. Codes with a leading zero, like 000241 for stage 16, need all six digits.
Bloxorz Tips (From the Game's Own Rules)
Think in three positions
Your block is either standing, lying along the screen or lying across it. A roll along its length stands it up; a roll to the side keeps it lying. Before you move, ask which of the three you need on the hole tile, and work backwards from there.
Solve stage 1 in seven moves
Right, right, down, right, right, right, down. The block lies down, stands, lies down, rolls sideways three times and then stands up into the hole on the last move. That's the pattern for the whole game: lie down to travel, stand up to finish.
Switches don't need you to stay
The instructions say it plainly: "You do not need to stay resting on the switch to keep bridges closed." Hit it, roll off, keep going. Watch the flashing squares, though, because some switches toggle a bridge every time you press them.
Arrive at X switches standing
Heavy X-shaped switches need the block on its end, so line up a roll along the block's length that ends on the X.
Cross orange tiles lying down
Only a standing block breaks an orange tile. Lying flat, the block can cross one safely.
Rejoin split blocks before the exit
After a ( ) switch, Space swaps between the two halves. Small halves can press round switches but not X switches, and they can't go through the exit. Put them side by side and they snap back into one block.
Bloxorz Tiles and Switches Compared
Most stages mix several of these pieces, and the trick is knowing what each one wants from your block. This table puts the game's nine instruction screens side by side, so you can check a tile without restarting the tutorial.
| Piece | What triggers it | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Grey tile | Always solid | Holds the block in any position |
| Orange tile | The block standing upright | Gives way and the block falls |
| Round (soft) switch | Any part of the block, even a small half | Opens, closes or toggles a bridge |
| X (heavy) switch | The whole block standing on end | Opens, closes or toggles a bridge |
| ( ) split switch | The block | Splits it into two small blocks in different places |
| Bridge | A switch | Appears or disappears; green or red squares flash |
| Exit hole | The whole block standing upright | Ends the stage |

What each Bloxorz tile and switch does (from the in-game instructions)
Two rows cause most failures: orange tiles and X switches both care whether the block is standing. When a stage looks impossible, check which of those it hides, then plan when you stand up and when you lie down.
Is Bloxorz Worth Playing?
Yes. It's one of the cleanest puzzle designs of the Flash era, and this is the real 2007 game, not a remake.
What we liked
- One mechanic, 33 stages, and every piece is explained in the opening instructions.
- Passcodes work as a level select, so you never lose progress you wrote down.
- A moves counter and a timer for anyone who wants to replay a stage more efficiently.
- The original menus, credits and instruction screens, untouched.
What held it back
- Keyboard only. There are no touch controls in this build.
- No undo in the instructions or the menu, so one wrong roll near an edge restarts the stage.
- An ad may play before the game file loads.
- In a browser with hardware acceleration switched off, Ruffle shows a warning that it may run slowly. It still worked for us.
Best for anyone who likes logic puzzles you can solve with a pencil and a bit of patience.
Can You Play Bloxorz Unblocked at School?
It depends on your network. This Bloxorz is a small browser game with no download, so a Chromebook runs it when both steal-brainrot.co and GamePix's game servers get through the filter. We can't promise Bloxorz is unblocked anywhere, and this page isn't a proxy. Our unblocked games page has more picks with the same caveat.

How we tested this game
We played the GamePix build in Chrome on a machine without a graphics card: the launcher, all nine instruction screens, stage 1 to the finish and the start of stage 2, the pause menu, Load Stage with three passcodes and the credits. The level codes come from the game file and were checked in the game.
