The short answer depends on the day of the week. Admin Abuse only happens on Tuesdays and Saturdays — there is no event on any other day. If today is Tuesday, the event starts at 6:00 PM ET. If today is Saturday, it starts at 3:00 PM ET. Every other day, the answer is simply no.
The countdown at the top of this page removes the guesswork. If an event is happening right now, the panel switches to a green "LIVE" state and shows how many minutes are left. If one is close, it turns amber and tells you to log in. Otherwise it counts down to the next Tuesday or Saturday — whichever comes first.
Admin Abuse is the single fastest way to get rare brainrots without spending Robux. During normal play, the strongest characters sit behind brutal Lucky Block odds — fractions of a percent. During Admin Abuse, SpyderSammy floods every server with exclusive spawns at once. For 30 to 45 minutes, the drop rates that normally take weeks of grinding become a matter of showing up.
That's why the events are crowded. Every active player knows the schedule, which means you're competing for the same spawns — and dealing with other players trying to steal what you grab. The upside is real, though. Several of the most valuable brainrots in the current meta first entered the game through an Admin Abuse event. If you want to know which of those are worth holding onto, the best brainrot ranking breaks them down by income and ROI.
Miss the event and you're back to grinding Lucky Blocks at base rates. That's the stake. Two windows a week, 45 minutes each — roughly 90 minutes that are worth more than the rest of the week combined.
Admin Abuse is a scheduled, developer-hosted event in Steal a Brainrot where the game's creator uses admin commands to spawn exclusive, high-value brainrots that players can collect during a limited 30–45 minute window.
The name is a joke. SpyderSammy — the developer — called it "Admin Abuse" because the devs are technically abusing their own admin permissions, breaking every normal rule of the game on purpose. There is nothing illicit about it. It is fully intentional, fully scheduled, and designed entirely to benefit players.
During an event you'll see things that never appear in normal play: limited-edition brainrots, stacks of Lucky Blocks, and special trait modifiers that boost income. The chaos is part of the design. Everyone is online, everyone is competing for the same spawns, and bases get raided. That tension is the event.
Joining isn't complicated, but joining well takes a little preparation. Here's the routine experienced players follow.

Servers fill up fast. Open Steal a Brainrot well before the scheduled start so you are already in a stable server when spawns begin. A late login often means a full server.
Sell or store your weakest brainrots beforehand. If your inventory is full when an exclusive spawns, you lose the chance to grab it.
Events run on every server simultaneously, so there is no benefit to server-hopping. Hopping just risks landing in a full lobby and missing the start.
Exclusive brainrots and Lucky Blocks get claimed within minutes. Know your base layout, move quickly, and defend what you collect from other players.
Two events, every week, on a fixed schedule. The cards below show the recurring times; the timezone table converts the next occurrence of each into your region. For last-minute changes — Sammy occasionally shifts a session — the official Discord's #bombardiro-news channel is the source of truth.
The mid-week event. Taco-themed exclusive brainrots, Lucky Blocks, and trait modifiers spawn across every server at once.
The weekend event, usually tied to a content drop. New brainrots, seasonal additions, and the biggest spawns of the week.
Both events are Admin Abuse, but they aren't identical. Taco Tuesday is the mid-week event — lighter, themed, predictable. The Saturday Update is usually the bigger of the two because it tends to land alongside a content drop, which means brand-new brainrots making their first appearance.
| Aspect | Taco Tuesday | Saturday Update |
|---|---|---|
| Day & time | Tuesday 6:00 PM ET | Saturday 3:00 PM ET |
| Theme | Taco-themed exclusives | Tied to content updates |
| New brainrots | Rare | Common — first appearances |
| Crowd size | Heavy | Heaviest of the week |
| Duration | 30–45 min | 30–45 min |
If you can only make one event per week, make it the Saturday Update — the chance of catching a brand-new brainrot on its debut is worth the bigger crowds.
The rewards fall into three buckets, and understanding them changes how you spend your 45 minutes.
Exclusive brainrots. These are the headline draw — characters that either never spawn in normal play or spawn at rates so low they may as well not. Some are event-permanent; others are limited to a single session and never return. The full brainrot database marks which characters are event-only.
Lucky Blocks. Admin Abuse floods servers with Lucky Blocks far beyond normal density. Each one rolls for a brainrot, currency, or trait. The volume is the point — open enough of them in 45 minutes and the odds work in your favor for once.
Rare traits. Trait modifiers stack onto your brainrots and multiply income. Admin Abuse is the most reliable source of the high-end traits. A single good trait roll during an event can do more for your income than a week of grinding — and trait-boosted brainrots carry serious weight in trades, which you can sanity-check against the value list.
Honestly, the rewards vary session to session — Sammy tunes each event differently, and we're never quite sure what a given Saturday will bring until it starts. That unpredictability is half the appeal.
The event ends, the spawns stop — but the smart play is just beginning. What you do in the hour after Admin Abuse matters as much as what you grabbed during it.
Triage immediately. Go through everything you collected and decide what to keep, what to trade, and what to sell. Event-exclusive brainrots are worth holding even if their raw income is mediocre — scarcity drives their trade value. Run your haul against the best brainrot ranking to see what actually earns.
Trade while demand is hot. The hours right after an event are peak trading time — everyone is online, everyone is sorting their haul. Event-exclusive characters command their highest prices in this window, before supply settles. If you pulled a duplicate of something rare, this is when to move it.
Reset for next time. Place your new brainrots, restructure your base for income, and clear inventory space again. The next event is at most four days away. Players who treat Admin Abuse as a weekly rhythm — collect, triage, trade, reset — compound their progress far faster than players who just show up and grab.
