I. The Tier

What Makes a Brainrot “Mythic” (And Why It's the Sweet Spot)

Mythic sits one tier above Legendary and one below Secret on the 8-tier rarity ladder Sammy hard-coded into the game. The spawn rate is roughly 0.1% per Conveyor Belt cycle — about 100× more common than a Secret, and 100× rarer than a Legendary. That math alone puts it in interesting middle ground.

But there's a second mechanic nobody else explains right: a guaranteed Mythic appears on the Conveyor Belt every 15 minutes, regardless of cycle-roll outcomes. Sammy added the 15-minute guarantee in UPD 7 specifically to fix the “Mythic drought” thread that blew up on the Discord. We cover that mechanic in Section V — it changes everything about how to farm Mythics.

II. The List

Our Verified Mythic List (5 Confirmed Italian Brainrots as of May 23, 2026)

All five Mythics in our verified set are Italian Brainrot characters. That's not a coincidence — Sammy front-loaded the Mythic tier with the TikTok meme cohort when the game took off in early 2026. Other tier lists count 23 to 35 Mythics including non-Italian additions from later UPDs; ours focuses on the 5 we've personally tracked spawn and income on.

We don't pad with newer Mythics we haven't verified. The list updates within 48 hours of every new addition Sammy ships.

III. Mythic vs Secret

Mythic vs Secret — Which One Should Your Next 20B Buy?

This is the comparison nobody else publishes — even though every mid-game player is silently doing this math. Below is the side-by-side across the 8 dimensions that actually decide whether you should go after a Mythic or save for a Secret instead.

Verdict: Mythic wins 4/8 — the math says sweet spot for mid-game

“For mid-game players, Mythic brainrots have 10× to 25× better ROI than Secrets — a $15B Mythic earning $120M/s pays itself off in 125 seconds, while an $80B Secret earning $850M/s takes 95 seconds but locks 5× more capital that could compound elsewhere.”

The verdict (honest player voice): choose Mythic if you're under Rebirth 8, want steady income compounding, and don't have 50B+ liquid. Choose Secret if you're past Rebirth 10, want a flex piece, and can absorb the loss of 80B in a raid.

If you want to see what you'd be choosing on the Secret side, our full Secret list breakdown covers all 10 Secrets we've verified — and the ROI math is brutal in the opposite direction. Or just run the numbers yourself in our income calculator.

IV. How To Get One

5 Methods to Get a Mythic, Ranked Honestly

Most guides rank methods by “chance per cycle” or some other theoretical number. That ignores the 15-minute guarantee, which is the single most important Mythic mechanic. We rank by what actually works — with the boring honest option first.

Best for · Hoarders

Method 1 (Conveyor) looks passive but the 15-minute guarantee changes everything — read the next section before you write it off as “too slow.” If you're leaning into Method 3 (stealing), invest in your trait loadout first; Medusa Head + All Seeing Sentry is the standard Mythic-raid combo.

V. The 15-Minute Rule

The 15-Minute Conveyor Belt Rule (Sammy's Hidden Mechanic)

Every 15 real-time minutes — not server-time, not relative to your join — the Conveyor Belt guarantees at least one Mythic-tier spawn regardless of natural roll outcomes. The clock is server-wide. Joining a server at minute 14 means you wait 1 minute, not 15. The Mythic that drops is randomly selected from the current pool, including seasonal Mythics.

EVERY 15 MIN
“Every 15 real-time minutes, the Conveyor Belt in Steal a Brainrot guarantees one Mythic-tier brainrot spawn regardless of natural roll outcomes. This is server-wide — if you join a server at minute 14, you wait 1 minute, not 15. The mechanic was added in UPD 7.”

Timing strategy that actually works: showing up at exactly :00, :15, :30, or :45 is the noob mistake. Every faster player does it, and the Mythic gets sniped within 3 seconds. The sweet spot is joining a server at minute :12 or :13 — you land in a fresh server with 2–3 minutes to settle before the guaranteed spawn, and you're competing against a smaller pool of people who happened to be there already.

Real-talk caveat: we've watched the 15-min rule fail 2–3 times in a single play session. Either Sammy patched it silently or the server crashed mid-cycle. Don't bet your entire afternoon on it being deterministic — but do bet 90% of your Conveyor strategy on it.

VI. The Math

Why Mythics Are the Sweet Spot (Honest ROI Math)

Most tier lists rank Mythics “mid-tier” because their absolute income is lower than Secrets. They're wrong. ROI is what matters — and a Mythic is the highest-ROI purchase in the game per dollar of in-game currency spent.

Our cheapest Mythic (Tung Tung Tung Sahur, $10B for $95M/s) pays itself off in roughly 105 seconds. Our most expensive Mythic (Los Bros, $20B for $80M/s) pays off in 250 seconds. The cheapest Secret pays back in ~100 seconds but costs $50B — 5× the capital lockup with only marginally better payback time.

Mythic cost vs 30-day passive income
A single mid-tier Mythic compounds to roughly 20× its cost in 30 days of passive income. That's the math the “mid-tier” ranking ignores.

Want to model a specific Mythic purchase against your current income and rebirth multiplier? Run breakeven on any Mythic in our calculator — it shows payback in seconds, not weeks. Before that, make sure your rebirth multiplier is high enough to justify the spend.

VII. The Mistakes

5 Mistakes That Cost Players Their First Mythic

  1. 01

Buying a Mythic at Rebirth 0–2

Your income multiplier is so low the Mythic ROI doubles. Wait until Rebirth 3+ before spending on any Mythic-tier purchase. Grind first, flex later.

  2. 02

Camping the Conveyor at minute :00

Every Mythic spawn on the dot gets sniped within 3 seconds by faster players. Join servers at :12–:13 instead — you land in a fresh server with 2–3 minutes before the guaranteed spawn.

  3. 03

Skipping Legendaries on the way up

Legendaries are the rebirth-fuel that gets you to Mythic-affording state. Skipping them means stalling income progression. Don't skip the runway just because the destination is shinier.

  4. 04

Holding cash for a "specific" Mythic

The Trader rotates weekly; the one you want may not be back for 6 weeks. Meanwhile your cash isn't compounding. Take what spawns now, swap later when the dream Mythic returns.

  5. 05

Not upgrading base defense before bringing it out

Mythics are flashy. Players raid for them. Triple-check walls, traps, and sentry placement before placing your first Mythic — getting it stolen 12 minutes later is a real story we've heard too often.

VIII. FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

QHow many Mythic brainrots are in Steal a Brainrot?+

Counts you'll see online range from 4 (PVPBank) to 35 (Driffle) as of May 2026, with most sources landing between 15–23. Our verified list contains 5 confirmed Italian Brainrot Mythics — the original cohort Sammy added when the game launched. Newer Mythics are added every 1–2 UPDs, but we only list ones we've personally tracked spawn and income on.

QWhat is the best Mythic brainrot to buy first?+

Tung Tung Tung Sahur at $10B for $95M/s income — that's a ~105-second payback period, the best ROI in our verified set. Bombardino Crocodilo and Tralalero Tralala are higher income but cost 50% more, so payback stretches to 125–138 seconds. For first-time Mythic buyers under Rebirth 5, Tung Tung Tung Sahur is mathematically optimal.

QHow often does a Mythic appear on the Conveyor Belt?+

Every 15 real-time minutes, a Mythic is guaranteed to spawn on the Conveyor Belt regardless of natural 0.1% per-cycle rolls. This server-wide timer was added in UPD 7 to address Mythic drought complaints. Joining a server at minute 14 means waiting 1 minute, not 15 — the clock is shared.

QShould I buy a Mythic or save for a Secret?+

Mythic almost always wins for mid-game players. A $15B Mythic at $120M/s pays back in 125 seconds; an $80B Secret at $850M/s pays back in 95 seconds — but locks 5× more capital. Until you are past Rebirth 10 with stable income, every Robux-equivalent dollar compounds faster in Mythics than Secrets.

QCan you steal Mythic brainrots from other players?+

Yes, and Mythic bases are easier to raid than Secret bases because owners display Mythics for the income flex rather than hiding them. Use trait loadouts focused on speed and detection — Medusa Head + All Seeing Sentry is a popular combo. Stealing is the fastest method if your raid skill is past beginner level.

QWhat is the cheapest Mythic brainrot?+

Tung Tung Tung Sahur at $10B in-game cash. It's also one of the highest-ROI Mythics (~105-second payback at $95M/s income). Frigo Camelo is reported as $350K in older tier lists, but that data appears to be from a pre-inflation snapshot of the game — current pricing puts all verified Mythics above $10B.

QHow do Mythic brainrots compare to Legendary?+

Mythics generate roughly 8× more income per second than Legendaries on average, at about 6× the cost. Legendary income ranges $12M/s–$18M/s; Mythic income ranges $60M/s–$120M/s. The jump from Legendary to Mythic is the single biggest income leap in the rarity ladder per unit of capital invested.

QDo Mythic brainrots count toward Rebirth requirements?+

Yes. Mythics count toward total brainrot count for Rebirth thresholds, but specific Rebirth tiers (5 and 7) require specific Mythics — Orangutini Ananassini for Rebirth 5 and Bomomini Gusini for Rebirth 7 per community-tracked requirements. Check the in-game Rebirth menu for current requirements as Sammy adjusts these between UPDs.
