What Is Tung Tung Sahur Haunted Asylum?
Tung Tung Sahur Haunted Asylum is a free first-person horror escape on GamePix. You search a dim stone asylum for 10 smartphones before a 5-minute timer runs out, while Tung Tung Sahur, the wooden log with a bat, hunts you through the corridors. If he catches you, the level starts over.
It starts outside. Pick a mode and a short intro plays in a backyard, framed like camcorder footage with a running timestamp: Tung Tung Sahur squares up to a toilet with a man's head poking out of the bowl, and a few seconds later that head is lying on the grass. Then it cuts to a dark asylum corridor and the lights fade up. Arched cell doors with iron bars, wooden ceiling braces, barrels and crates, and a lit room with tall iron cages. The objective sits in red and white text at the top-left: "Collect 10 smartphones within 5 minutes and escape", with an "Object found: 0/10" counter and a "Time left" countdown underneath.
Both meme characters have history in Roblox's Steal a Brainrot. Tung Tung Tung Sahur was a Secret there, costing $500M and earning $1.5M/s, until it was removed from the game on September 13, 2025, according to the Steal a Brainrot wiki. Skibidi Toilet is an OG added in Update 31 that earns $450M/s. This browser game is unofficial and has nothing to do with Sammy's Steal a Brainrot; it just borrows the faces for a short Tung Tung Sahur horror game of its own.
How to Play Tung Tung Sahur Haunted Asylum
There's no tutorial in Tung Tung Sahur Haunted Asylum and no controls screen. Just a title and two buttons. Here's the routine that got us into the asylum and moving, step by step, from the first click.
- 1Start the GamePix player
Accept or dismiss the cookie notice and press the big green start button on the GamePix splash. Give the game a moment to load.
- 2Pick Easy mode or Hard mode
The title screen has exactly two buttons, a yellow Easy mode and a red Hard mode, over a slowly changing 3D background. Both lead to the same intro and the same objective.
- 3Skip the intro
The backyard cutscene has a Skip button in the bottom-right corner. Click it and you go straight to the asylum.
- 4Read the objective
The red-and-white text in the top-left tells you to collect 10 smartphones within 5 minutes and escape, with Object found starting at 0/10 and Time left at 300 seconds.
- 5Look with the mouse, walk with W
Move the mouse to turn; you don't need to click or hold a button. W walks forward and S backs up. You start at one end of a long corridor lined with barred cell doors.
- 6Search and keep an eye on the far end
Work through the corridor and the rooms off it. Tung Tung Sahur arrives from the far end of that first corridor, so check it often.
- 7If he catches you, go again
A full-screen jumpscare picture flashes, then you're back at the start of the corridor with 300 seconds and 0/10. The intro doesn't replay, so you can go again right away.
We tried the usual extra keys. Escape and P didn't pause anything: the countdown kept running behind them. E, F, C, Space and Ctrl did nothing we could see. We held Shift while walking, but couldn't tell whether it made us faster, so we can't promise a sprint. There's no settings menu, no on-screen buttons during play, and no way back to the title screen short of reloading the page.
Tung Tung Sahur Haunted Asylum also runs in a fixed 4:3 frame. On a wide monitor you get blue bars down both sides. The build's own config locks it to that landscape shape and marks it non-responsive, which matters on phones (see the FAQ).
Tung Tung Sahur Haunted Asylum Tips (From Getting Caught a Lot)
Use your first minute well
On one run we stood still at the start to time him. Tung Tung Sahur stepped out next to the barrel at the far end of the first corridor when the timer read 239 seconds, and he reached us at 222. That's about a minute of free searching if you start right away. Don't count on it, though: on the move we were sometimes caught sooner, and once he was already standing right behind us when we turned around.
Skip the intro once, not every time
In Tung Tung Sahur Haunted Asylum the backyard cutscene only plays when you choose a mode. Catches skip it. You land straight back in the corridor, so the Skip button only matters on your first go.
Don't treat the bars as doors
Every barred cell door and gate we walked into stayed shut. One cell holds a stone bench and hanging chains, another room is full of iron cages, and we could see both only through bars. Spend your 300 seconds on the open corridors and side rooms instead.
Expect two different jumpscares
The catch screen isn't always the same picture. Twice we caught it as a pixelated Tung Tung Sahur with his arms spread wide. Once it was a pale figure in a long white robe holding a red bat, standing in a foggy forest. Neither lasts long, and then the corridor is back.
Start on Easy
Hard mode opens with the same cutscene and the same 10-phone, 5-minute objective. In the few minutes we gave it, nothing obviously changed, but Easy is the place to learn the corridor first. Just be aware that we can't tell you exactly what Hard adds.
Phones are the part we can't spoil
We never got a single phone onto the counter before a catch reset it, so we can't tell you what one looks like or where they spawn. If you find the first one, you know more than we do.
Tung Tung Sahur Haunted Asylum vs Haunted Brainrot 3D
There's no Roblox game called Tung Tung Sahur Haunted Asylum to compare against. The closest thing a searcher would weigh it against is Haunted Brainrot 3D, another GamePix brainrot escape we play-tested the same week. On paper they're twins. In practice they play very differently.

Two GamePix brainrot escape games, compared from our own play-tests (October 2026)
Want actual fear? Pick Tung Tung Sahur Haunted Asylum, because it's the only one of the two where something comes for you. Haunted Brainrot 3D is the slower, puzzle-ish walk for exploring at your own pace, and its on-screen joystick makes it the better bet on a touchscreen. Neither one saves, so give either game a proper sitting.
Is Tung Tung Sahur Haunted Asylum Worth Playing?
Yes, if you want a short, sharp Tung Tung Sahur horror game and don't mind starting over a lot. The intro is the funniest thing in it, the asylum looks properly grim, and Tung Tung Sahur stepping out by that barrel at the end of the corridor never stopped being creepy. The goal is clear from the first second. Ten phones, five minutes, get out.
The weak spots of Tung Tung Sahur Haunted Asylum show up fast. Being caught throws away your whole attempt, with no checkpoint, and a page reload sends you back to the menu. There's no pause, no settings, no help screen, and the only controls we could confirm are the mouse, W and S. The fixed 4:3 frame leaves bars on a widescreen monitor. We also saw no touch controls, so it's really a computer game. And because we never banked a phone, we can't say how long a full escape takes.
Who's it for? Fans of the Tung Tung Sahur meme and anyone who liked Granny 2 and wants something shorter. If you'd rather explore without being hunted, try Haunted Brainrot 3D instead.

How we tested this game
We played the GamePix build in Chrome on a PC without a graphics card for about 45 minutes on October 6, 2026: Easy and Hard mode, the intro with and without Skip, ten catches, a timed idle run, the pause and extra keys, a page reload, phone-shaped windows, and a final check through the GamePix embed itself. The game ran at only 3 to 5 frames per second on that machine, which made dodging Tung Tung Sahur far harder than on a normal PC, so our zero phones says more about our setup than about the game.
