Keyboard Escape Online: Play Block Speed +1 Free
Every key tile in the starting square is worth +1 speed, and the game's own How to Play card says they refresh every 14 seconds. So the square is a farm. Sweeping across it took us from 0 to 124 speed, and when lava killed us in Room 3 of the dungeon, we walked back with every point and every coin. This Keyboard Escape is GamePix's Keyboard Escape Block Speed, an unofficial browser take on Roblox's +1 Speed Keyboard Escape. Below: how to play Keyboard Escape online, the rooms we reached, shop prices, what the ad buttons do, phone controls, and how it compares with the Roblox hit.

What Is Keyboard Escape Block Speed?
Keyboard Escape Block Speed is a free, unofficial browser game on GamePix modeled on Roblox's +1 Speed Keyboard Escape: you run over giant keyboard keys to raise a speed stat, then take that speed into an endless dungeon of named rooms where lava ends your run.
Everything starts in a walled square. Rainbow rows of key tiles fill most of it, under signs reading "STEP ON KEYS +1 SPEED" and "ENTER THE DUNGEON", next to a purple Dungeon Gate, a Speed Crate and three treadmills. You play a blocky kid in a blue cap and orange hoodie (the default costume, called Blok). Two counters sit top left. Speed, with a smaller decimal beside it, and coins. That decimal looks like your actual movement speed: it read 7.0 at zero speed, 8.7 at 48 and 11.3 at 124, so a big speed number buys less pace than it sounds.
The Roblox original, SecretVerse Studio's Candy & Chocolate edition, promises "Every step = +1 Speed" across candy keyboard keys. This version swaps the candy for a rainbow keyboard and a brick dungeon. The menu offers Turkish, English and Russian, and no developer is credited on screen or on GamePix.
How to Play Keyboard Escape
Keyboard Escape explains itself better than most browser games, with a How to Play card on the menu that covers keys, treadmills, the dungeon and the controls. Here's the loop as we played it.
- 1Start the game
Press the green GamePix start button and wait for the menu. Press Play, then click "Click to start". The menu also holds Shop, How to Play and Settings.
- 2Farm the key field
Walk across the rainbow tiles. Each new key adds +1 speed and +1 coin, while a key you just used won't count again until it refreshes, which the card puts at 14 seconds.
- 3Try a treadmill
Three belts sit beside the spawn point, signed +2, +6 and +15. The middle one shows "Unlocks at 60 speed" until you get there.
- 4Enter the Dungeon Gate
Walk into the purple portal. You arrive under a sign reading "ROOM 1 LAVA KEYS", with a room counter, a progress bar and a Players board on screen.
- 5Cross the rooms
Keep to the grey and coloured keys and stay off the orange lava. Jump gaps with Space. In both of our runs, Room 1 paid 22 coins and Room 2 paid 26.
- 6Choose what happens after a death
The "YOU DIED!" screen offers Respawn here (an ad button), Start over from room 1, or Back to square. Your speed and coins stay either way.
You move with WASD and jump with Space. The How to Play card also lists Shift to crouch and F5 to switch camera, and Settings lets you pick Third person or First person. We turned the camera by holding the left mouse button and dragging. Settings also has toggles for Sound, Music and Screen shake, the TR/EN/RU language switch, and a red Reset save button.
Keyboard Escape Tips From Two Dungeon Runs
Sweep fresh rows instead of circling
Keys refresh on a timer, so shuffling over the same few tiles wastes your time. Long sweeps across untouched rows worked far better, and the game cheers them on with streak pop-ups ("10× STREAK!", later "18× STREAK!"). Two sessions of sweeping got us to 101 and then 124 speed, with one coin per key on top.
Treadmills add speed, not coins
The belts kept carrying us off the end, so we never measured their rate. A brush with the Tier 2 belt did take us from 66 to 71 speed while coins sat at 66. Keys pay both.
Room 3 is the wall, for now
Room 1 (Lava Keys) and Room 2 (The Void) fell easily in both of our runs, at 48 speed and at 124. Room 3 is Lava Keys again, but it ends in lava platforms over a dark drop, and it beat us twice: once we ran straight onto the lava, once we jumped and still came down in it. More speed didn't help. Line up straight before you jump, which is the part we got wrong.
Death is cheap, so be bold
Lava takes nothing you've earned. After our first death we were back in the square on 48 speed and 93 coins; after the second, 124 speed and 161 coins. The death screen tallies the run: the room you reached, "You cleared 2 rooms", and the coins you picked up (48 both times).
Know what the shop costs
Coins go to the Shop's three tabs. Keys pay 1 coin each and our two-room dungeon runs paid 48, so prices translate straight into grind. These are the items we saw on October 6, 2026; every tab scrolls further.

Keyboard Escape shop prices we saw, in coins (October 6, 2026)
A 250-coin costume is roughly 250 fresh keys, or five two-room dungeon runs. Nothing in the shop mentions speed or stats, so these look like cosmetics. We topped out at 161 coins and couldn't afford anything to check.
Don't plan around the ad buttons
The Speed Crate offers "Watch an ad → +40 speed", and Respawn here carries an AD tag. We pressed both. No ad played, and nothing paid out.
Keyboard Escape vs the Roblox Original
Most people typing keyboard escape into a search bar mean the Roblox game, and it's still big. At 12:43 UTC on October 6, 2026, it had 80,154 people in it, #14 on Roblox's Top Playing Now chart, and 6.31 billion visits since January. RoVitals logged its all-time peak at 6,062,892 concurrent players on August 15, 2026. Here's how the browser version lines up.

Keyboard Escape Block Speed vs the Roblox original (as of October 6, 2026)
If you can play Roblox, the original has the crowd, the multipliers and a Halloween World on the way: Roblox lists it for October 17 to 24, after a "Halloween AA + Update" on October 10. The browser version is for when Roblox isn't an option. That's how you play Keyboard Escape online without an install, and its room-by-room dungeon isn't in the Roblox description at all.
We also loaded GameMonetize's "+1 Speed Keyboard Escape" before picking this one. Plain white figure, ad pads like "+100 WIN" on the track, and a "Privacy Policy" label stuck over the game. The GamePix build won easily.
Is Keyboard Escape Worth Playing?
Yes, for a short session. Clean menus, a How to Play card that actually explains things, a shop with more than 30 items, and named dungeon rooms that give the grind a point. Dying costs nothing you've earned, so it's relaxed rather than punishing.
The catches are real, though. Progress didn't survive a page reload in our browser, twice, so one session may be all you get. Neither ad button did anything for us, and the treadmills kept pushing us off. The Players board also showed the same five names (ObbyPro, Kirmizi_7, Backspace, FastFinger, HizliHakan) in both dungeon runs, next to your own row, labelled SEN (Turkish for "you"). That looks like bots rather than live players. We never saw chat or a lobby.
It suits anyone who wants the Keyboard Escape loop without Roblox, on a computer or a phone turned sideways. If you want to race real people, the Roblox original is still the place.
Can You Play Keyboard Escape at School?
Only if your school's filter lets GamePix through, since the game above loads from GamePix's servers. That's the whole story behind Keyboard Escape unblocked searches: this page isn't a proxy or a bypass, and we can't promise it works on any particular network. We didn't test a school Chromebook either. If you went looking for Keyboard Escape unblocked because it hangs on the GamePix start screen, check for a filter or an ad blocker. Our unblocked games page has more browser games.

How we tested this game
We loaded both candidate builds on October 5 and 6, 2026, then played the GamePix one: two key-farming sessions, the treadmills, two dungeon runs to Room 3, the shop, settings, the ad buttons, two page reloads to test saving, a phone-size window and Chrome's touch emulation. Our test machine has no graphics card, so the game ran at low frame rates and loaded slowly, and we played muted.
We don't show star ratings or play counts on game pages unless we can check them. Spotted something that changed? Tell us.
