How to Get Free Brainrots in Steal a Brainrot (2026)

1. Buy Cheap Off the Red Carpet

“Free” with an asterisk. Brainrots walk out of the Cave and down the Red Carpet, and anything you buy with cash walks itself back to your base. You spawn with $100 and an on-screen prompt to buy a Noobini Pizzanini ($25 for $1/s), so your very first brainrot is a purchase. Cash costs you nothing but time, though. That's how every base starts.

The catch is the walk home. Until your purchase reaches your base, any other player can buy it out from under you for 150% of its price, and it reroutes to them. Nobody is paying 150% for your $25 Noobini. A Brainrot God is a different story, because the game announces Brainrot God, Secret, Lucky Block and OG spawns to the whole server.

Odds are where most guides make things up, so here's where ours come from. The wiki publishes the carpet's spawn weights, pulled from the game files, and we summed them into per-spawn odds at base luck. These are our calculations, not official numbers. They're still built from real data, which is more than you can say for most odds tables out there.

The takeaway: a Legendary is roughly 1 in 99 spawns and a Mythic roughly 1 in 431, so the real skill is never sitting at $0 when one walks out. The wiki also lists “guaranteed” spawns: a Legendary every 5 minutes, a Mythic every 15 and a Brainrot God about every 45, with that last one marked as an estimate. No source is cited, and we haven't found Sammy confirming any of it, so treat it as community lore. Mythics also aren't announced when they spawn. Watch the carpet yourself.

2. Steal From Other Players

It's in the name. When someone's base lock is down, you walk in, grab a brainrot and carry it back to yours. The lock lasts 60 seconds, plus 10 seconds per rebirth (and another 10 with VIP), so low-rebirth bases have the shortest locks. Anything is fair game except Spyder Elephant, which can't be stolen. Machine, event and Admin Abuse exclusives can all be taken. The one safe zone is the Trade Plaza, where stealing is off.

The run home is the hard part. Carrying a brainrot drops your speed from 34 to 20 (about 41% slower), cuts your jump by 40% and locks you out of your gear. The owner gets an alarm the moment you grab it. One hit from their Bat or Slap and the brainrot goes straight back. Brutal, honestly.

Flip side: everyone is doing this to you too. Swap the starter Bat for a Slap ($500 in the gear shop) as soon as you can, since the wiki recommends it for the bigger hitbox. Keep your best brainrots on your top floor. You get a 2nd floor at Rebirth 2 and a 3rd at Rebirth 10, and the full ladder is in our rebirth guide. And if a thief shows up while you're unlocked, lock first and fight second, or more players pile in behind them.

3. Show Up for Scheduled Admin Abuse

This is the big one. Every Saturday the weekly update drops around 3 PM EST, and Sammy follows it with Admin Abuse: 30 to 60 minutes of him breaking the game on purpose. Tuesdays get a second session, Taco Tuesday, at 6 PM EST (it used to be 5 PM, and 3 PM before that). It runs about as long, or, per the wiki, until Sammy is done with his tacos. Update 70 is scheduled for Saturday, October 10.

Here's what goes down. Server luck jumps, sometimes as high as 30x or 35x (both rare), when the most you can buy with Robux is 8x. Lucky Blocks spawn: Mythic, Brainrot God, Taco, Admin, Secret and the “Los” blocks, and sometimes it just rains them. Sammy spawns brainrots directly, most famously La Vacca Saturno Saturnita (“did someone say la vacca?”), plus Matteo, Karkerkar Kurkur, Dul Dul Dul, Los Tralaleritos, Job Job Job Sahur and Graipuss Medussi. Then there's the Sammy Snap, which fires a stack of events at once; Random Server Spawns, where a high-tier Secret lands in a few chosen servers; Sammy's Base with 3–6 brainrots; and limited-stock codes.

A few honest caveats. Not everything is free. The Admin Lucky Block costs $100M, and 34.55% of the time it hands you Carloo, its only Mythic. Luck doesn't change what's inside a Lucky Block either; the wiki says contents are decided at spawn. Admin Abuse runs in private servers too, and the wiki recommends using one if you have it so you're not fighting a full server for every spawn. Sessions occasionally get cancelled (two Taco Tuesdays were skipped during a three-week break in May–June 2026) or handed to guest admins like Steak and Caylus. And Sammy has said he won't admin-spawn OGs, so don't camp out waiting for a Strawberry Elephant.

4. Log In Early for the Early-Bird Gift

Lowest effort on this list. Be in the game roughly an hour before a scheduled Admin Abuse and you get an early-bird gift, usually a Secret Lucky Block. “Usually” is the wiki's word, not ours, so don't be shocked if it's something else one week. Still, it's a block people pay Robux for. The wiki can't even agree on the price (R$1,499 on one page, R$2,399 on another). Since Update 62 every Lucky Block opens instantly, so there's no timer to sit through.

The Secret Lucky Block holds no Mythics or Legendaries. Our character pages track a few of its long-shot drops: Esok Sekolah at 3%, Spaghetti Tualetti at 1% and La Secret Combinasion at 0.5%. We don't have the full odds table for the rest of the pool, so we won't pretend to.

5. Catch the Unannounced Admin Abuses

Sammy also runs surprise sessions, which the wiki calls Secret Admin Abuses. They happen mostly on Sundays and Friday nights, and sometimes he opens with a casual “is anyone there.” It might be a single snap. It might be 30 minutes of 10x, 12x or 20x+ luck. Occasionally he even brings back a retired event: Cyber Fishing showed up in one on April 19, 2026. There's no schedule to give you, sadly. The only strategy is playing on Friday nights and Sundays and hoping you're in a server when it starts.

6. Redeem BESTBRAINROTEVER (and Know What It Really Does)

As of October 5, 2026, BESTBRAINROTEVER is the only code that works for everyone, all the time. And it doesn't actually give you a brainrot. It spawns a La Vacca Saturno Saturnita, a Secret earning $325K/s, onto the Red Carpet in your server. You still have to buy it for $80M before anyone else does. Since a walking brainrot can be bought out at 150%, anyone holding $120M can take it off you. Redeem it in a server where you have the cash and nobody else looks rich.

To redeem, hit the Codes button on the left side of your screen. Sammy moved it out of the Shop on June 13, 2026, in Update 53. Type the code exactly (it's case-sensitive) and press Submit. Any guide telling you to scroll to the bottom of the Shop is out of date.

Every other code is limited. Some are limited-stock codes Sammy posts during Admin Abuse that run out fast: FREE500DRAGS gave a Dragon Cannelloni, JOHNPORKDAPIGGY a John Pork. Some are riddle codes with one to three uses, like CANDY24SAMMY (one Strawberry Elephant, one redemption, total). The rest are paid merch codes from the blind bags and plushies, so not free at all. Codes only started on December 13, 2025, and Sammy paused them June 27–30, 2026 after an exploiter group sniping them got banned. Our codes page tracks the whole list.

7. Spin the Eclipse Wheel (and Watch for Eclipse Spawns)

Update 69 (October 3, 2026) kicked off the Eclipse event, and Eclipse is now the best mutation in the game at 14x, ahead of Crystal (13x), Phantom (12x) and Cyber (11x). While the event is running, brainrots on the carpet can roll Eclipse. The event fires every hour on weekends and every two hours on weekdays. Using the wiki's income formula, an Eclipse La Vacca would earn $4.55M/s instead of $325K/s. That's our math, but it's simple math.

Each mutation event also comes with a wheel, and you get a free spin when the event starts. Keep expectations low. On the Divine, Cyber and Phantom wheels, 97.25% of spins paid out cash (Pinch of Cash 55.75%, Wallet of Cash 34%, Truckload of Cash 7.5%). The rest was 2x Luck at 2%, a mutated Secret Lucky Block at 0.5% and a mutation Slap at 0.25%. The wiki lists Eclipse wheel odds with a “probably” attached, so we're not treating them as confirmed. Extra spins cost R$99 (R$49 with the daily discount, or 3 for R$199). That's not free, so take your one spin and move on.

8. Farm Weather and Trait Events

Traits don't hand you a new brainrot. They make one you already have earn more, which is close enough. Natural weather gets a chance every 15 minutes: Starfall gives the Cometstruck trait (+2.5), Snowy gives +2 and Rain gives Wet (+1.5). The Glitch event and the 1x1x1x1 event spawn daily at 3:00 AM EST. Admin Abuse adds admin-only weather on top: Raining Tacos, UFO, Crab Rave, Nyan Cat, Solar Flare and more.

Here's how it stacks. A brainrot gets one mutation but any number of traits, and the wiki's formula adds them together: base income × (mutation + every trait). So a Gold (1.25) brainrot with Fire (+5) earns 6.25x its base. The trick trait farmers use is that a brainrot can't pick up new traits once it's inside your base. They leave it on the carpet during a weather event, or pass it back and forth with a friend or an alt. Our traits guide has the full list.

9. Run a Ritual

Rituals are crafting without a machine. A few players hold specific brainrots in a specific formation and spot, the components get permanently deleted, and a new brainrot spawns along with a special weather. These are the rituals the wiki documents right now. Read the note under the table before you sacrifice anything, because “new” doesn't always mean “better.”

Do the math first. Three La Vaccas earn $975K/s between them, while Las Vaquitas Saturnitas earns $750K/s. You lose income on that one. What you gain is two free slots. The Guerriro Digitale ritual only works at 3 AM EST or during Admin Abuse. And since components are gone for good, ignore anyone pitching a “Strawberry Elephant ritual” with a Lirilì Larilà and a Strawberrelli Flamingelli. The wiki flags that one as a scam.

10. Use the Limited-Time Stuff: Haunted Fuse and Jump for Eggs

The Haunted Fuse arrived with Update 69 on October 3, replacing the Craft Machine. You feed brainrots in for a chance at its pool, which runs from Commons all the way up to Phoenix ($425M/s, tied with Los Dragons as the top-earning Secret) and Plant Bros ($300M/s, with a secret recipe, Orchidox plus Venuspino, at 50%). Also in there: Sammyni Spookyni, Oni Oni Panda, Fangaro Lupino, Los Treaters, the new Mythic Frostino Vampiro, and Mortaruga, now the best Brainrot God at $324K/s. Max odds are mostly unknown. The wiki pages are two days old, so we're waiting on real numbers like everyone else.

Why bother now? Machines rotate out, usually after a few weeks, and once one is gone its exclusives can't be obtained anymore. That's why 21 of the 41 Mythics and 11 of the 26 Legendaries are currently unobtainable.

Jump for Eggs is a limited-time mode that started with Update 68 on September 26. You train on trampolines for XP to unlock higher islands and collect eggs that contain brainrots. Higher islands give better tiers, and you keep earning passive income while you're in the mode. Tier-5 eggs include Dragon Cannelloni (Heavenly island), Cerberus (Lava), Capitano Moby (Aquatic), Draculino (Cave) and Yetimatic (Arctic), and the Desert island's Tier-4 egg is La Grande Combinasion. One problem: the wiki still lists the end date as TBA, and we couldn't confirm whether the mode survived the October 3 update. Check in-game before you plan a session around it.

Four More Routes, Situational

These didn't make the top ten because they either need something you probably don't have yet, risk what you already own, or don't give a brainrot at all. Still worth knowing.

What Doesn't Exist (or Doesn't Anymore)

What NOT to Do

Free stuff attracts scammers. These are the ones the wiki specifically warns about, plus one that applies to every Roblox game.

• Fake Rituals — The “Strawberry Elephant ritual” (Lirilì Larilà plus Strawberrelli Flamingelli) is clickbait. Ritual components are deleted permanently, so a fake one costs you real brainrots. Stick to rituals listed on the wiki.
• “Secret” Lucky Blocks That Aren't — People pass off mutated Mythic Lucky Blocks as Secret or OG ones. The tell, per the wiki: the Mythic block has no glow. Look before you trade for one.
• Trade Bait and “Indexing” Offers — “Puffaball is rare” is a known trade bait, and so are fishing-multiplier pitches. Anyone offering to “index” a Spyder Elephant for you is running a scam too.
• Free Brainrot Generator Sites — No website can add brainrots to your account. Anything that asks for your Roblox login is after the account, not offering you a Secret. Close the tab.

If you only do three things from this page: be online an hour before Tuesday's and Saturday's Admin Abuse, always keep enough cash to actually buy what spawns, and get into the Haunted Fuse before it rotates out.
